February 2021, eco printing on silk and woollen fabrics.
Dried and fresh flowers(scares at this time of year!)printed on to iron infused fabrics and steamed for 90 minutes. Followed course led by Caroline Nixon on textile artist.org. – so this was my first successful foray onto eco printing on natural fabrics.
First go at Eco printing: various amounts of success! I’m starting to think I need stronger ‘iron water’ to get darker shades. Printing weight paper has proved to be “better” than cloth.
Geranium and Rowan leaves, Fuschia flowerheads.
Mid summer 2020 – Much Improved! Wet, wet, wet Was the solution.
